Dating back to the Victorian era, Ashleigh House keeps many of its original features: Lakeland stone walls, large bay windows and antique fireplaces. Every room is decorated in soft pastel shades for a light, relaxing feel.

The classic first walk. A short, steady climb through woods to a panoramic viewpoint over Windermere and the fells. Allow about 2 hours round trip.
